How to make a healthy Easter Basket

Kids are so excited to find their basket of goodies on Easter Morning, but I don’t love giving them a ton of candy. We know that sugar is not good for them and neither are all of the artificial colors and flavors.

So how can we make a healthy easter basket? Let’s fill their baskets up with some fun and useful items that will sure to please.


Using a pretty, reusable basket will allow you to use them over and over even as they get older so you can continue to give them an amazing healthy easter basket.

How to make your healthy easter basket?

Adding lots of fun things that your kids will LOVE that don’t come full of excess sugar and loads of artificial ingredients. Here are my top 20 non-candy items to put in your healthy easter basket.

  1. Swim Goggles: As the weather warms up so will pools and beaches! We even love wearing goggles in the bathtub to “practice” going underwater.

  2. Tegu Travel Blocks: We love the bigger version of these blocks but these ones are perfect for the basket, the car, the restaurant, or any other time.

  3. Egg Sidewalk Chalk: We love drawing and playing in the spring with this fun chalk.
